The exhibition is called “In Vibrant Color: Vintage Celebrity Portraits From the Harry Warnecke Studio,” and it consists of color photographic portraits of 24 noteworthy people from the last century whom we’re more accustomed to seeing in black and white.

It’s almost that time of year, the mysterious poppy fields light afire or have little patches of embers; it’s been a hit or miss for me.  This article collects the top ten poppy fields in California…handy!

These have been thought extinct for years after they were killed off by rats that overtook Lord Howe Island in the 1800′s.   Locals called them “tree lobster” because the were massive.     But a nest of 24 were found on a prudential looking rock, so they bred some more.    Have a look at the researcher’s funky eyebrows too.
